RiFF RAFF's Neon Icon album gets the chopped and screwed treatment from his former manager and H-Town legend OG Ron C. Released via Mad Decent, RiFF RAFF dropped the album via iTunes and is offering a merch bundle (which can be ordered here) that includes a custom clear purple cassette tape, blacklight poster and socks. The 15 track project is expertly chopped and screwed by Ron C and has features from Childish Gambino, Mike Posner, Paul Wall, Slim Thug and Mac Miller. "I been CHOPPiN Blocks & Blades since the early 1700's and this is the first of many albums to be chopped," the Neon Icon told FADER in an email. "My songs are made to be chopped so when you hear this NEON iCON chopped by OG Ron C that's how I meant for it to sound." For someone who was born and raised in Houston and heavily influenced by the slowed down sounds of H-Town music, it's only right that RiFF RAFF pays tribute with a chopped and screwed project of his own. Check it out in full above.

RiFF RAFF has a lot of music on deck that he plans to release in 2015. According to a previous Instagram post, the rapper plans to drop two albums on June 1. One will be called Peach Panther, which will be a rap album, and the other will be The Purple Panther, a rock album with all live instruments.
