It hasn't even been six months since its release and Post Malone's official debut album Stoney has already reached a major milestone. According to the RIAA, the project, which was released in December of 2016, is now officially certified platinum, having exceeded over 1 million units sold.

According to reports, the Dallas rapper's album, which was previously certified gold, has cumulatively generated over 1 billion streams and counting, and remains among the list of the "Top 10 Streaming Albums for 18 Consecutive Weeks" since it dropped late last year. This weekend, the Texas artist held a private party at the 2017 Coachella Music Festival in California, where he received his platinum plaque and also ordered $8,000 worth of Popeyes for guests.

On top of the album reaching the major certification, Malone's breakout single "White Iverson" has recently been certified four times platinum as well. During the same ceremony, he received a plaque with four platinum records on it to honor the single reaching the major milestone.

His main single off of the Stoney album, "Congratulations," which features Quavo, has also become platinum certified since its release, while the album has remained in the Top 15 on the Billboard 200, reaching No. 14 on the charts this week.

With his new project Beerbongs and Bentleys set to drop this summer, it looks like 2017 is about to be another big year for Posty.
