Post Malone Gets Major Props From Taylor Swift for His “Better Now” Song
Taylor Swift has never been shy about expressing her fandom for rappers and hip-hop stars, and she seems to be a big fan of Post Malone. While he was walking backstage at the 2018 Billboard Music Awards last night (May 20), the Syracuse rapper crossed paths with the pop star, who gave him major props for his "Better Now" record.
As soon as she saw Malone in the hallway, she immediately expressed her admiration of the song, even stating that she was "jealous" that the "Rockstar" entertainer came up with it for his Beerbongs & Bentleys album. Swift even mentioned her love for the song's hook.
"'Better Now' is so insane," she says. "I'm so jealous of that song, that hook."
Malone seemed to be caught off guard and surprised by the comment, as he laughed and showed his gratitude to the reputation singer.
"Thank you so much," he responds with a smile.
Last night was a big night for Post Malone, who took home the Top Rap Song award with 21 Savage at the Billboard Music Awards for their "Rockstar" smash hit. The rappers were able to beat out Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)," DJ Khaled's "I'm the One" featuring Justin Bieber, Chance The Rapper and Lil Wayne, French Montana's "Unforgettable" featuring Swae Lee and Kendrick Lamar's "Humble" in the category.
