In 2001, Jadakiss and Beanie Sigel exchanged diss records, going toe-to-toe in a battle that many believe ended in a draw. Rapping over Jada's own "Put Your Hands Up," Beans spit the memorable line "Nigga dig this, I'm bout to son Kiss like a soda," though in a recent interview, Peedi Crakk says that Sigel didn't author the record entirely by himself.

Speaking with Doggie Diamonds, Peedi, who was a member of Sigel's State Property outfit, recalls the war of words, saying, "The whole time when them battles was going on, I had to suppress how I really felt. When Beans and Jadakiss…I love Jadakiss. I love Mac too but I love Kiss too, but it’s hard to act like I don’t like this nigga when they battling."

Peedi echoes the popular notion that the battle ended in a draw, saying he never felt like one rapper out-did the other, though it was entertaining for him to watch. As he reflects on the moment though, he comes to a realization that penning the "Put Your Hands Up" diss was a collaborative effort. "I think Oschino and Chris had wrote that with him, too," he says. "They all wrote it together. I may not be exactly sure, but it wasn’t just him to the face, niggas definitely chimed in with certain little punches and shit."
