Papoose Wanted Remy Ma To Squash Beef With Fat Joe

Remy Ma has been on an award tour of radio and press after serving 6 years in jail. This morning, she sat with The Breakfast Club and did a deep dive into her post-prison life. After talking about entertaining offers from DJ Khaled and others for a new label home, she spoke about mending fences with one-time mentor Fat Joe. Rem explained how they were on the outs when she was sentenced and cleared the air prior to her release. Her husband Papoose, who's had a physical altercation with Joe in the past, was in full support of the conversation.

"I reached out to him before I came home. I just wanted to start with a clean slate. I didn't want any roadblocks. I didn't want any baggage from my previous time. With Joe, I had mad love for Joe," she explained "He [Papoose] was actually the one who thought it was a good idea. I asked him about it and he said I think that's a dope idea. A lot of times he gets flack for being a hot head or disgruntled but he actually pushed me and said 'I think you should do it."
