South Florida is currently a hotbed for new rap talent, with one of the hottest new acts being Lil Pump. The "Molly" rapper has been hard at work on his debut project, Lil Pump Tape, which according to the Sunshine State MC is finally complete.

Late last night (Sept. 23), Pump announced the good news on Twitter. "LIL PUMP TAPE IS FINISHED 🎆," he tweeted plainly.

Back in July, Pump announced the project would be dropping in August, but apparently he wanted some extra time to put in some finishing touches. LP has been in the studio heavy and recently shared a preview of an upcoming track with Lil Yachty.

Pump recently hit a milestone in his career, landing his first song on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Earlier this week, his latest single, "Gucci Gang" debuted at No. 81 on the chart. He put out the video for the track back in August.

“People don’t really compare me to anybody," Pump told XXL about his style when spoke to him in April. "They just say I’m a mumble rapper. I’m fine with that. I don’t really care. It’s not negative; I guess it’s just that ignorant shit. [My music] is just saying reckless shit on a song but going with the flow so they’re still going to fuck with it, even though you’re saying some off the wall shit.”

Pump also recently previewed a new record on Instagram, which is more than likely going to get placement on the new project. It's turnt! There is still no release date for Lil Pump Tape, but according to the Instagram post from Miami rapper, the tape is "coming soon."
