Lauryn Hill Is Sentenced to Three Months in Jail

Lauryn Hill was sentenced to three months in prison on Monday for tax envasion, reports AP.

Hill will also serve three additional months in home confinement.

Reuters reported her attorney had said Hill paid more than $970,000 to satisfy the amount she owed before she was sentenced. Hill faced a maximum sentence of one year each on three counts.

Currently, it is not known where she will be transported to prison.
