Metro Boomin Lands DJ Residency in the Bay Area
Metro Boomin has signed an exclusive residency with the San Francisco nightclub 1015 Folsom. The Atlanta producer will kick off the partnership with a show on Friday, Jan. 20.
The 23-year-old "Jumpman" producer is hosting the Jan. 20 event, which will also feature DJs including Another Party Fam, Trap City DJs, Sean G and DJ Dials. The party begins at 10 p.m. and won't stop rockin' until 3 a.m.
You can cop $25 tickets to the Jan. 20 concert right here via Event Brite. Fans also have the opportunity to buy a $60 "3-Peat" ticket, which will get you in to 1015 Folsom for Metro's first three residency shows on Jan. 20, March 30 and May 19.
Tickets are sure to sell out quickly, so if you're in the area and want to catch one of the game's illest producers in his prime, be sure to act swiftly.
In other Metro Boomin-related news, the super producer recently said on Twitter that he's planning a collaboration album in 2017 with up-and-coming Canadian artist/producer, Nav. “Me and @beatsbynav dropping our collab album 2017,” Metro wrote on social media.
In case you missed it, check out his joint EP with 21 Savage, Savage Mode. The nine-song project was spearheaded by the popular singles “No Heart and “X.” The latter went platinum in November.
Metro Boomin had a career year in 2016, and it appears that he's gearing up for a major 2017, as well.
