Madeintyo Stars in HUF’s 2016 Holiday Lookbook

Today, Los Angeles-based clothing brand, HUF gives its consumers a first glimpse at its latest apparel collection and footwear drop, set for the 2016 holiday season. The brand tapped newcomer, MadeinTYO, for its holiday lookbook and features the ‘Uber Everywhere’ rapper in several outfits and shoes from its forthcoming collection.

Inspired by MadeinTYO's upbringing in a military family, the You Are Forgiven rapper dons an assortment of military-influenced garments from the new collection such as the MA-1 Tonal Jacket and matching jacquard muted tonal camo World Wide Fleece Pants. The collection takes on iconic sports team memorabilia and athletic-wear, but it also draws its inspiration from the '90s street-fashion through pieces such as the 10K Track Jacket, Tofino Hooded Polartec Pullover and Easy Reversible Satin Jacket.

HUF's holiday line also includes a capsule collection paying homage to San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza through a dedicated range featuring an ‘EMB Contact Sheet’ collage pattern composed of classic images from the period by photographer Bryce Kanights.

The HUF 2016 Holiday footwear styles include an update on the new court-inspired Boyd, as well as a carryover collaboration with world-renowned fabric manufacturer British Millerain Co. utilizing a specially treated Bushwax 4 “Staywax” material across the Classic Hi shoe.

HUF’s 2016 Holiday collection retails from $8 - $130 and will be available starting Thursday, Oct. 6 at HUF retailers worldwide, and Thursday, Oct. 13 at HUF online.
