As expected, Lupe Fiasco's Lasers album debuted on top of the Billboard Top 200 albums chart today (March 16) after selling an impressive 204,200 units, according to the Nielsen SoundScan report.

Although these numbers are just slightly lower than HitsDailyDouble's projected figures (220,000-240,000), estimated from Lu's one day sales last week, it marks the highest selling debut in Fiasco's career and the second highest first week sales numbers of 2011.

Raekwon also entered the charts today with his fifth solo album, Shaolin Vs Wu-Tang.  The Chef moved 28,900 units, which landed him a spot No. 12.

Although Nicki Minaj saw a slight dip in rankings from No. 12 to No. 16, the Young Money Princess continues to crank out at least 20,000 units each week.  Adding 25,300 to her tally this go-round, Pink Friday's total numbers now stand at  1,213,000.

Eminem’s Recovery trails closely behind at No. 19.  Shady picked up another 21,900 units sold and is now checking in at 3,716,800 units in his 38th week.

At No. 32, Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy pushed out 12,500 more units this cycle, bringing its total to 1,074,400. Closing out the Top 40 at the last spot is Weezy. I Am Not A Human Being has an overall sales number of  806,900 following 10,800 purchases over the last seven days.
