Lil Poopy's father, Luis Rivera, otherwise known as "Fat Louie," was among a dozen people arrested on Thursday (June 9) following a federal gang and drug raid. As WCVB5 is reporting, Rivera, 33, was included on a list of 50 individuals arrested in Boston and charged in federal courts, accused of being involved in a network of various members and associates of the 18th Street Gang, the East Side Money Gang and the Boylston Gang.

Rivera was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine and cocaine base, with a grand jury indictment coming in after evidence showed that he was in possession of 280 grams or more of a "mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of cocaine base."

"It is alleged that these individuals were responsible for fueling a gun and drug pipeline across a number of cities and towns in eastern Massachusetts," according to a statement issued by the office of U.S. Attorney Carmen Ortiz. Rivera was arrested previously on drug charges in Brockton in 2013, and was investigated for child neglect that same year.

Lil Poopy, who onnce rapped "Coke ain't a badd word, it's only soda" appeared earlier this year in the Lifetime reality series The Rap Game hosted by Jermaine Dupri. Rivera as well appeared in the series though only via a telephone call encouraging his son. Read the full story on Rivera's indictment from WCVB5 and Brockton's local paper, The Enterprise.
