Kool G Rap’s return is imminent. The legendary rapper unveiled the cover artwork for his new album Return of the Don, which is produced entirely by veteran beat maker MoSS. The cover features Kool G Rap wearing white fur in front of a globe.

The cover reveal comes a little over a month after Kool G Rap first announced the LP. The Road to the Riches MC shared the news during an appearance on SiriusXM’s Boxtorow Goes One on One.

“It’s called Return of the Don,” Kool G Rap told host Donal Ware. “It’s featuring many dope rappers, many dope MCs and certain cats in the game who I consider more than just my peers in Hip-Hop, but actual brothers. There are names on there like Saigon, names on there like Raekwon, rest in peace to my man Sean Price, who I was fortunate to record with before he passed on to the Essence.”

Return of the Don will be Kool G Rap’s first solo album since 2011’s Riches, Royalty and Respect. In the midst of that six-year layoff, the Kool Genius of Rap did release a collaborative album with Necro. Once Upon a Crime, the duo’s one and only LP released under The Godfathers moniker, dropped in 2013.

XXL will keep you posted on any updates regarding Kool G Rap's Return of the Don ahead of its release.
