Killy Travels Through the Desert in “No Sad No Bad” Video
Last month, Killy unleashed his debut project with the 11-track Surrender Your Soul, which has garnered the attention of the music world. As the calendar flips to April, the rising 20-year-old delivers the scenic "No Sad No Bad" video on Wed., April 4.
The Canada native notched a co-directing credit for the visual along with David Del Rosario and WVMR. The raw clip opens with Killy alone deep in a segregated mountainous region until the tune's instrumental slices in around the 25-second mark.
The visual pivots to Killy moving throughout the California desert chained up as he can't seem to break free of what's holding him back. He continues to spit bristling rhymes recalling his first phony Los Angeles experience.
"First day in L.A., a hundred groupies/My shorty in the ends afraid to lose me (lose me)/They gon' say I changed but I never changed/I just bought a chain, fuck a wedding ring," he raps.
On the heels of Surrender Your Soul's success, Killy announced his Surrender Your Soul World Tour dates (April 9), which will begin with the U.S. leg in Seattle on April 28 before moving throughout Europe and culminating in Belgium to close out June.
