One wouldn't describe Katy Perry as shy. Yesterday (Feb. 8) at the 57th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Perry was stopped on the red carpet by Buzzfeed. The reporter--who Perry said sarcastically was covering "really important topics"--asked the "Roar" singer what her favorite song is to have sex to. Perry listed off some old standards (Marvin Gaye, Jeff Buckley) but settled on The Weeknd's "Often" as her contemporary favorite. Calling the singer "the most sexual deliverer of beautiful lyrics right now," she gave the song a glowing endorsement. As she left, she added, jokingly, "The Macarena."

Perry was decidedly more serious inside the Staples Center, where she gave a stunning performance of her song, "By The Grace Of God," as part of a segment on the importance of fighting against domestic violence. She stood stoically in front of an all-white drape onto which silhouettes were projected. The song was preceded by a speech from Brooke Axtell, the Director Of Communications for a foundation called Allies Against Slavery and herself a survivor of both domestic abuse and human trafficking. The same act in the show was opened by a video message from President Barack Obama on the subject
