Trae Tha Truth is doing all that he can to help the city of Houston, Texas in their time of need following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey earlier this month. While plenty of celebrities have stepped up to help out, Jeezy made a huge donation to help Trae's relief efforts following the storm.

The Snowman and his purified water company Defiance Fuel teamed up with Trae to help the American Red Cross after the organization made an emergency call for more drinking water. Two truckloads carried the 50,000 bottles of water to the Southern city this past Friday (Sept. 8), and were distributed to local residents in need by Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee alongside Trae himself.

Jeezy released a statement in regards to the donation, naming Houston as one of his favorite cities and pledging to do whatever he can for those in need.

“I am praying for all those affected by the storm," Jeezy says. "Houston is one of my favorite cities and I will help those in need however I can at this time."

This is far from the first time Jeezy will be seeing gratitude from Houston for his help in the city, as Lee previously honored the Atlanta rapper with the Certificate of Congressional Recognition for his philanthropic contributions to the city back in 2013.

Many of our favorite superstars have been stepping up to help those in need in Texas following the damages of the hurricane, including Drake, Beyoncé, Master P, Kevin Hart and more.
