Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown Plays Dr. Dre’s “Still Dre” Beat on Piano
The Boston Celtics are looking like world beaters these days. A big reason behind their success (besides Kyrie Irving of course) is guard, Jaylen Brown. Not only can he get it in on the hardwood, but he's not bad on the piano either. Video recently surfaced of the Celtics wingman tickling the ivories to the tune of Dr. Dre's classic, "Still Dre."
It is unclear where Brown is at in the video, which shows him in all black sitting behind an expensive-looking piano. Once you hear the first couple of chords you already know what time it is. Brown manages to get through it without messing up too much. He's no Wolfgang Mozart, be he definitively gets an E for effort. Scott Storch would probably approve.
Speaking of Dre tracks, it was recently revealed that the good doctor and Rick Rubin are both working on Eminem's new album, Revival. According to the Shady, Rubin produced "three or four" tracks on the forthcoming LP, while Dr. Dre "mixed a few records."
Em's new album still lacks a release date, but the rollout for the new project has commenced with the Detroit rapper recently releasing the Beyonce-assisted single, "Walk on Water." He performed the track for the first time at the 2017 MTV EMAs where he took home the award for Best Hip Hop.
