Time files when you're killing the charts on Billboard. Just five years ago, J.Cole was a newbie on the rap scene, hoping to grab a handful of listeners through his storytelling and hard hitting bars. He accomplished his goals when he released his masterpiece, The Warm-Up. Now, the former XXL Freshman, will celebrate the five year anniversary of the tape that put him on the map with MTV's Rap Fix.

"6/15 marks 5 yrs since @JColeNC dropped the #TheWarmUp. He and @RealSway are celebrating with a RapFix special. 7:30pm Sun on @MTVJam," said in a Twitter Post.

Ever since his release of his musical opus, The Warm-Up, J.Cole has delivered 2 Gold selling albums with The Sideline Story and Born Sinner. Hopefully, the Carolina rapper has some more new material coming out. You could also catch J.Cole on tour to celebrate his 5th year anniversary of The Warm Up.
