Ice Cube and Kevin Hart are back at it. Universal Studios has released a new trailer for the upcoming film Ride Along 2, the sequel to Ice Cube and Kevin Hart's 2014 hit. While the original received mostly negative reviews, it did earn the highest domestic opening weekend gross ever in the month of January until it was topped by American Sniper earlier this year.

The new movie sees Ice Cube reprise his role as James Payton, a detective in Atlanta. Kevin Hart plays Ben Barber, James' soon to be brother-in-law and a recent graduate of the police academy. Ride Along 2 sees the unlikely duo receive an assignment to stop a drug dealer in Miami. The action-comedy stars Olivia Munn, Ken Jeong, Tika Sumpter and Benjamin Bratt. The movie, which Ice Cube is also producing, will hit theaters on Jan. 15.

Ice Cube is staying busy on the acting front as Barbershop: The Next Cut, the third film in the Barbershop series, is scheduled to be released in April. And Cube recently landed the role of Ebenezer Scrooge in an upcoming remake of A Christmas Carol titled Humbug.
