Today, July 18, is the birthday of Chicago rapper Lil Bibby. Bibby is now 24.

Born Brandon Dickinson, Bibby got his start in the Chicago rap scene from a young age. Bibby came up with the likes of G Herbo, King L, Fredo Santana and Lil Durk and became known for hard-hitting rhymes backed by Chicago drill beats. Bibby has cited his inspirations to be Drake, Jadakiss and of course, Chi-Town's golden child Kanye West.

Bibby dropped his first mixtape Free Crack in 2013. The title for the project comes from Kanye West's 2005 song "Crack Music." In 2014, Bibby decided to turn it into a series by dropping Free Crack 2. Bibby's massive fanbase and steadfast grind earned him a spot on the 2014 XXL Freshmen cover. Since then, Bibby gave fans a three-peat with 2015's Free Crack 3, has collabed with his longtime friend G Herbo, Lil Yachty and more and has even traveled with Pusha T on his Darkest Before Dawn Tour.

In 2017, Bibby could be seen linking up with Tink, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, PnB Rock and G Herbo and previewing music off FC4 before dropping off his Ann Marie-assisted track, "Complicated."

Bibby has been a bit on the quiet side in 2018, but we can probably expect big things from him soon enough.

Happy Birthday, Bibby!
