Freeway Updates Fans on Health Condition
Freeway is on the road to recovery after a health scare a couple days ago where the Philly rapper suffered from kidney failure. As previously reported, the former State Property MC diagnosed after a routine checkup with his doctor. From there, the former State Prop MC was rushed in for emergency treatment and received another treatment on Friday (Sept. 18).
It looks like Free is doing fine. He recently took to Instagram to update fans on his health saying he is in a much better condition. Posting a picture from his hospital bed, Free captioned the photo, "Thank you All for your prayers and support! I'm doing much better!"
Unfortunately, the health scare happened just days before the rapper’s FreeFest, which was scheduled for this Saturday, Sept. 19. Free promised to make up for missing the show when his health is in order. "Soon as I'm 100% #FREEFEST is Back on!!!! Salaams!," he added.
To prove he is currently in better health and better spirits, the rapper posted another video of him stoically walking through the hospital heading for treatment, and another video of him getting his 1-2 step on to New Edition's 1984 jam "Cool It Now," which apparently only he can hear.
