Freeway may have signed a deal to reunite with Jay Z at Roc Nation. The Philadelphia rapper posted two photos of himself at Roc Nation headquarters, one of which saw him alongside Jay Z. The solo shot featured a #Roc4Life hashtag.

"2017 should be a Great year!! 🙌🏾 🔥" Freeway wrote as the caption for the picture with Hov.

Freeway's potential signing would make him the first Roc-A-Fella artist to join Jay Z's Roc Nation. Freeway and his State Property brethren were core members of the Roc during its heyday, so this reunion would be a special moment for hip-hop.

Jay Z and Freeway are already on good terms as the two linked up at the former's B-Sides concert in 2015. After that show, both Freeway and Beanie Sigel expressed their desire to work with their old boss again.

The signing of Freeway would add another veteran rapper to Jay Z's Roc Nation lineup. The "Can't Knock the Hustle" rapper has been busy over the past year, signing a bunch of well established MCs.

Last year, Jay Z signed The L.O.X., T.I., Rapsody and Yo Gotti to deals. 2017 has been even more shocking with Hov inking deals with some of his past rivals, Fat Joe and Jim Jones. Those partnerships were certainly surprising, but a Roc-A-Fella revival would be truly astonishing.
