There were 852,000 physical versions of Views sold, with its equivalent album sales, including streams, totaling at 1.04 million. Drake’s record setting release dethrones Beyonce’s Lemonade as the biggest opening streaming week, as the singer’s most recent album earned 115.2 million plays in its first seven days.
The album's second official single, "One Dance" is breaking records as well. Currently sitting at No. 1 on the Billboard 100, the song broke Adele’s seven-day UK streaming record for a single getting 7.8 million streams in week, topping “Hello’s” previous record of 7.3 million streams. Drake revealed he was shooting the video for the song last week.
