DMX and Swizz Beatz gave us multiple classics at the height of the Ruff Ryders' reign on hip-hop in the late 1990s, and it looks like the boys are back at it again. In a post shared to both Swizzy and X's respective Instagram accounts on Tuesday night (March 5), the pair revealed that they're in the lab cooking up more music together.

"No days off!!!!!!!!" Swizz captioned the photo of himself and X in the studio. X followed up a couple of hours later, simply captioning it with an X emoji.

Their reunion comes a little over a month since DMX was released from prison after serving a year at West Virginia's Gilmer Federal Correctional Institution for tax evasion. Since his release, he has not put out any new music, but he did appear in the music video for Bhad Bhabie's Kodak Black-assisted new track, “Bestie."

Previously, X and Swizzy linked up in 2017 for the sold-out Ruff Ryders Entertainment 20th anniversary reunion show at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn. The show also featured X and Swizzy's fellow Ruff Ryders alums Eve, Drag-On, Cassidy and The Lox. The pair also came together in 2018 for the SwizzBeatz 2018 DMX Series 2000, a collaborative shoe from Swizz and Reebok Classic.
