Divine Council delivered one of the best songs of the year with their André 3000-assisted single, “Decemba (Remix)." The music video for the record was also directed by 3 Stacks. The budding collective from Richmond, Va. and Chicago exclusively premieres the behind-the-scene video from that shoot with XXL today (Dec. 19). In the footage above, fans get to see a different side of Lord Linco, Cyrax, $ilk Money and Icytwat while also learning about the advice Dre has given them.

"Having Andre involved was deadass a dream come true," they explained. "The whole experience of working with him side by side on something so amazing is deadass hard to fathom. [We] truly appreciate having a mentor like him and thankful for his belief in us. The shooting of the video was a whole new experience, a nigga really felt like Denzel and shit. Every time we link up with [André 3000] he always has nothing but advice and constructive criticism. Real Council lessons."

Next up for Divine Council is new music. They just finished touring with 21 Savage and Young Thug last night (dec. 18) at Terminal 5 in New York City. If you haven't, give their Council World EP a spin that dropped in July.

XXL spoke with the Divine Council for The Break. SilkMoney says the group’s goal in hip-hop is to “change the sound, change the feeling, and change the world. It ain’t really just about chasing the paper, at the end of the day niggas trying to make amazing fucking music and deadass change the whole sound. Everything sounds the same. Everything is trap this, trap that. It’s so many subgenres to trap [laughs].”
