A few weeks removed from the surfacing of reports that J.T. will be released from jail next month, it looks like the City Girls are looking to keep up their musical momentum. On Wednesday (Oct. 31), the Instagram account for the rap duo revealed both the cover and release date for City Girls' debut album, Girl Code.

The album, which serves as the follow-up to their Period mixtape, will be released on Nov. 16. "G I R L C O D E November 16th The Album Dropping," reads the caption of the cover on Instagram.

The cover arts shows Yung Miami and J.T. both laying on a bed in an all-white outfit. The words, "Girl 'City Girls' Code" are written at the top in a bright red font. A tracklist for the project has yet to be revealed.

Considering that J.T. turned herself in for fraudulent credit card charges this past July, it's clear that City Girls recorded a lot of songs before she went away.

The Quality Control Music signees have made it their duty to stay on top of releasing new content. Last Friday (Oct. 26), the duo released a visual to "Not Ya Main," from their debut project. The music video sees J.T. and Yung Miami living their best life on a relaxing beach setting.

In addition to the announcement of their album and staying on top of releasing content, the rap duo released Point Blank Period, on Aug. 30. The 22-minute documentary shows exclusive footage of the group's rise to fame and J.T.'s last moments before turning herself in. A part of that fame included being featured on Drake's Scorpion track, "In My Feelings," which was announced as the Most Streamed Song of 2018 Summer by Spotify.

“Yeah we don’t wanna be small, we wanna do everything. Have stuffed named after us,” JT said to XXL for The Break.
