Netflix is officially making its first foray into the music competition series ring. As Deadline earlier today (Nov. 13), the streaming service has greenlit a new series set to focus on hip-hop talent. Excitingly, Cardi B, T.I. and Chance The Rapper have been tapped to be judges on the show.

Per the announcement, the series will span 10 hour-long episodes in its debut season, and it's set to premiere in fall 2019. According to reports, the show, titled Rhythm + Flow, has been in development at Netflix for over a year now.

The show, which will be executive-produced by John Legend and Jesse Collins, will begin having auditions across the country this year. On top of that, a handful of yet-to-be-announced established rappers and industry leaders from each city will also serve as guest judges.

The premise for Rhythm + Flow is described by Netflix as the “search for the next breakout hip-hop star.” Given the expansive industry knowledge and vibrant personalities of each rapper set to be a judge, this show just might be destined to be an instant hit.
