Following an injury at Kanye West’s 30th birthday bash, a man who manages Bone Thugs-N-Harmony is suing designer clothing company Louis Vuitton, who held the event in their upscale Fifth Avenue location.

New York's Daily News reports that when Steve Lobel attended the party for West on June 7, 2007 a temporary panel that was hanging on the wall fell on his head. Lobel claims the unstable piece was used to make the store look more like a club for the event.

In addition to L.V., Lobel has also named the promoter Tony Berger of Relevent Group LLC. in his suit, which he recently filed in Queens Supreme Court. He is seeking unspecified damages.

This is not the first time a man from the rap industry was harmed in the midtown LV shop. As XXLMag.com previously reported, last December Dipset Capo Jim Jones got into a scuffle at the store with Ne-Yo’s manager JaVogn Smith - brother to rival Jay-Z's right hand man Tyran “Ty Ty” Smith. Charged with misdemeanor assault, Jones plead not guilty in the case. He is expected back in court on March 24th – the same day that his new album Pray IV Reign hits stores. – Elan Mancini
