Black Thought and Method Man Freestyle on ‘Sway in the Morning’
It's not often we see cyphers amongst rappers these days, but the veterans are still more than prepared to step up. Black Thought and Method Man stop by Sway in the Morning on Shade 45, where they spit some insane bars in a new freestyle cypher for the radio show.
The Wu-Tang Clan MC kicks things off with some intense bars, making metaphors referring to his lengthy run in the rap game over the last two decades. As J.I.D.'s "Never" beat plays in the background, we eventually hear from Thought, who calmly sits as he absorbs and follows up the vibes from Method Man's verse.
At the end of the cypher, Sway shares his enthusiasm for the two going head-to-head with their rhymes, calling them "real MCs." Meth even breaks off quickly from the interview, exclaiming that he has to use the bathroom.
While Black Thought has been keeping things quieter on the music front this year, aside from being a guest on Rapsody's upcoming album, the Wu-Tang Clan entertainer has been featured on a slew of different songs, like Snoop Dogg's "Mount Kushmore," and dropped his "Eviction" visuals,.
