Complete List Of BET Hip-Hop Awards Winners

The BET Hip-Hop Awards were, as expected, less about the awards than about the performances, and especially the Cyphers. And when it came to the latter, the big boys all delivered. Kendrick Lamar and TDE, in what was maybe the most anticipated Cypher in the Award show's history, were—on the surface, at least—the standout performers, although Slaughterhouse, Action Bronson, Rapsody and Jon Connor all may have a say in the matter.

And the performances served up their share of highlights, too—Meek Mill kicked things off with a fiery start, while 2 Chainz (with assistance from Mannie Fresh and Juvenile) and a Rick Ross/DJ Khaled/Future mashup showcased just one of Ross' many fantastic wardrobe decisions. But it was the final two performances—a mashup of Yo Gotti's "Act Right," Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O." and Rich Homie Quan's "Type Of Way" as well as an emotional set by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony—that really stole the show. Snoop Dogg more than held his own as the host, putting in work with a number of hilarious skits, and Kevin Hart was there...repeatedly.
