Bas may be too hight to riot but he's not opposed to cruising with the top down. Still riding high off the acclaim of his sophomore LP, Too High to Riot, the Dreamville mainstay drops the video for "Matches" today.

The visual was directed by Doubiago Bishara and Nelson G. Navarrete for The Super Mookin Fiends and finds Bas in a content mood. As the rapper and The Hics cruise around town, shadows appear on bridge walls and the sides of buildings but they don't bother the group one bit. Playing off the chill vibe of the song itself, Bas laughs at their appearance and continues to calmly spit his bars in the summer breeze.

"We gone show 'em that Dreamville this year/We gone show 'em that when the people come together ain't no holding back/And that's the only fact/I been holding back tears for these/Young black souls lost in the past year/Some by the law, they ain't even flash steel/Some by they own dogs, most by their own fears/And you can watch it all young nigga stand still/Niggas yelling 100, they ain't half real," he rhymes.

Bas spoke on his first time collaborating with The Hics when the album dropped. "We are friends turned collaborators who have aided me in my travels, inspired me beyond measure, and allowed me to creatively realize a vibe I always envisioned inside my head. Together, we make such beautiful music and I hope my fans enjoy it," he stated.

If you like what you see in the laid-back clip, Bas will be hitting the road this summer with his Dreamville labelmate Cozz and Atlanta duo EarthGang on the Too High to Riot tour.
