The highly-anticipated new Tupac Shakur biopic, All Eyez on Me was released in theaters nationwide yesterday (June 16) to mixed reviews from celebrities. One of the most vocal opponents of the project was Jada Pinkett Smith, who felt like the depiction of her and 'Pac's relationship was way off. Now, the movie's producer, L.T. Hutton is defending the film against the actresses' claims.

Hutton recently chopped it up with TMZ, and told his side of the story. "I'm kinda disappointed and hurt by the accusations that it wasn't depicted...or I can't remember the exact words she said," she started. "It all came from the truth, and places and moments of her actual dialog and ideas that 'Pac actually had."

He continued, "Multiple best friends and people that eat dinner with her all the time have seen the movie, and they loved it. And they told her about it. They explained to her that everything was great. This was years ago. I wanna go on record. I respect the hell out of Mrs. Smith. I wouldn't put anything in this film...everybody watching the film, they will tell you, I'm very responsible with everyone."

Jada bashed the movie for what she said are inaccuracies yesterday (June 16). “Forgive me… my relationship to Pac is too precious to me for the scenes in All Eyez On Me to stand as truth.” she said on Twitter. “Pac never read me that poem. I didn’t know that poem existed until it was printed in his book. Pac never said goodbye to me before leaving for LA. He had to leave abruptly and it wasn’t to pursue his career. I’ve never been to any of Pac’s shows by his request. We never had an argument backstage. The reimagining of my relationship to Pac has been deeply hurtful.”

50 Cent is not a fan of the movie either. While surprisingly, Suge Knight and Diddy approve the film.
