Adidas Yeezy 500 Utility Black Gets a Release Date
The Adidas Yeezy 500 continues to be one of the most coveted sneakers in 2018. Looking to continue the push of the in-demand sneaker, Adidas and Kanye West unveil a new colorway of the Yeezy 500 shoe in a fan-favorite hue.
Dressed entirely in a black colorway and dubbed as the Utility Black pair, this Yeezy sneaker features a bulky and vintage aesthetic with Adidas’ signature adiPrene cushioning on the midsole. Rounding out the look of the shoe is a black chunky midsole and outsole to match the upper of the kicks' canvas.
The Adidas Yeezy 500 was first previewed in late October 2017 when No Vacancy Inn’s Tremaine Emory posted the kicks on his Instagram account. Since then, Kanye West has been spotted a number of times wearing different colorways of the unreleased kicks.
The Adidas Yeezy 500 Utility Black will release on Sat., July 7, at select Adidas retailers worldwide. Set to retail for $200, the shoe will be limited in quantities and is also available online via the Adidas website.
In related Kanye West news, the hip-hop superstar was recently spotted in Paris at the Louis Vuitton fall/winter 2018 fashion show where he reunited with longtime friend and collaborator Virgil Abloh.
