Adidas Originals Unveils Chinese New Year Pack

To help celebrate the Chinese New Year, adidas Originals has created a sneaker pack for the annual festivities.

Inspired by the four Chinese blessings, the adidas Originals Chinese New Year pack includes four classic silhouettes from the recent Originals archive including—the EQT Support ADV, NMD R2, Superstar 80s and Campus silhouette’s traditional white and scarlet colorway. The pack is adorned with the four Chinese blessing symbols, which can be seen on the shoe and on the exclusive bamboo hangtag.

Adidas is known to celebrate the Chinese New Year with annual sneaker pack release. In the past, the German brand has focused on releasing Chinese New year packs with their signature basketball silhouettes. This time around, the Three Stripes tapped into their adidas Originals division to give sneakerheads a different set of themed kicks.

The adidas Originals 2018 Chinese New Year pack will release at select adidas Originals worldwide on Sat., Jan. 13. Look for the sneakers from this pack to retail between $120 - $150.
