A Tribe Called Quest made their triumphant return to the stage last night (Nov. 12) on Saturday Night Live. On the heels of the release of their final album We Got It From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service, which dropped on Friday (Nov. 11), ATCQ proves they can still kick it with performances of the new tracks "We the People..." and "The Space Program."

The episode has been one hip-hop heads have been waiting for since it was announced two weeks ago. Earlier this week, a hilarious promo for the episode added more anticipation. The Tribe, sans Phife (RIP), didn't disappoint.

Q-Tip, Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and Jarobi White performed a rousing set which included the album cuts “We the People...” and "The Space Program."

A touching moment in the show happened when the group revealed a huge painted portrait of the late Malik during "We the People..."

Consequence and Busta Rhymes hit the stage and joined the fun for the "The Space Program."

This is ATCQ's first album in 18 years, and more than likely their last. Kendrick Lamar, André 3000, Elton John, Kanye West, Anderson .Paak, Busta Rhymes and Talib Kweli also appear on the LP. Needless to say, the fans are hype. And the group has clearly gained a renewed energy despite having to go it without Phife, who passed in May.

“The drapings of ageism and questions of where we’re at, that shit flew out the fucking window,” Q-Tip said at the album listening. “We just locked in. We became fucking kids again.”

We can tell.
