And just like that, the 2018 XXL Freshman Class has arrived. After months of deliberation, the 2018 XXL Freshman list includes Fort Lauderdale, Fla.’s Ski Mask The Slump God, Miami’s Lil Pump, Miami’s Smokepurpp, Atlanta’s J.I.D, London’s Stefflon Don, Memphis’ BlocBoy JB, Birmingham, Ala.’s YBN Nahmir, West Palm Beach, Fla.’s Wifisfuneral and Canton, Ohio’s Trippie Redd. Now that the list is here, you can watch all nine rappers hit the stage at the Freshman show.

On Wed., July 11, you can get the chance to see these dynamic performers live and in the flesh at New York City’s Terminal 5 for the 2018 XXL Freshman showcase. When that day arrives, fans will see the techniques and talents that made each of these newly minted XXL Freshman worthwhile successors to Freshmen of years' past. While most of the XXL Freshman class will perform, there is a chance the entire class won't be in attendance.

With most of the 2018 XXL Freshman hailing from the South—Stefflon and Trippie being the exceptions—this year’s class serves as a massive W for the region. On another level, almost all of this year’s Freshmen built their following on the grounds of SoundCloud as their popularity exploded due to a collection of viral videos and free-verse tunes that took on unexpected lives of their own once unleashed onto the world. With a mixture of lyricists, melodically inclined rhymers and makers of raucous street anthems, this year’s class is a portrait of rap as we know it in 2018.

Doors open at Terminal 5 at 7 p.m. EST, while the show, which is for all ages, will begin at 8 p.m. You can cop tickets to the 2018 XXL Freshman show below.
