Rappers Yung Mal and Lil Quill are lucky to be alive after they were both shot following a show in Nashville, Tenn. last night (April 13).

The buzzing duo had a show on Friday at DMG Studios for a concert series called Plugged in Nashville. News on the shooting is scarce, but the incident was reported by their label 1017 Eskimo on Instagram. In the split image, both rappers are laying in hospital beds.

"After the show last night somebody pulled up 2 cars deep on the highway and shoot up the bus Quill Mal and the driver was hit," the caption reads. "Quill leg shot in and out Mal leg shot in and out and Mal gt hit in the back 🙏🙏 @lil.quill @yungmal__15."

Mal also reported the news on his IG page, along with a photo in the hospital. "Doctors say if I didn’t keep it real my whole life I woulda died," he captioned the pic. "Thank u father GOD for saving my life & not making me like da rest of dese niggas 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽."

Another video with the headline "Fuck Tennessee" shows Quill under a blood-stained sheet. Another clip shows him walking around with the aid of crutches.

XXL reached out to Alamo Records, the parent company of 1017 Eskimo Records, for comment regarding Yung Mal and Lil Quill’s condition.
