Yung Gleesh has been charged with sexual assault. Fader reports that Gleesh is now arrested by the police in Austin where he will face the charges. His mug shot can be seen above.

The D.C. native, whose real name is Asa Asuncion, joined many other artists in Austin, Texas this past weekend for SXSW. According to KXAN, Asuncion allegedly assaulted a young woman while at a friend's home in North Central Austin on Thursday night (March 19).

According to Austin police, authorities met the young woman at St. David’s Hospital Friday morning (March 20) and she told the story of what took place the night before. The girl admitted to having been intoxicated and passed out around 2:30 a.m. at a friend's home. According to the victim’s friend, about an hour later, Yung Gleesh arrived with a group of his friends, one of whom lived in the house. Around 6 a.m. the following morning, the victim's friend says she woke up to find Asuncion atop the victim, mostly unclothed. A verbal altercation then ensued before the victim was taken to hospital.

"My Dog" rapper was set to perform in Dallas before flying back home to D.C. Palm Door, an event space in Austin, says that Gleesh was a no show for his performance. The A$AP Mob affiliate also canceled his Dallas show.
