YG attended the Lakers-Rockets game last night (Oct. 26). During the game, a Lakers reporter tried to crack a joke about the Compton rapper on Twitter. YG quickly fired back.

Bill Oram covers the Lakers for the OC Register. At 12:30 a.m. EST, he tweeted, "YG is sitting courtside in a Harden jersey and taunting some Lakers fans who apparently knew who he was without an exhaustive Google search." YG promptly responded, "James Harden is from LA pussy." You can view both tweets below.

Congratulations, Mr. Oram: you played yourself. One would think an NBA reporter would know where James Harden grew up. The Rockets superstar went to Artesia High School in Lakewood, Calif. He won state championships in both his junior and senior seasons before playing at Arizona State University and declaring for the NBA draft in 2009.

As for the actual game, the Lakers beat the Rockets 120-114 thanks to Julius Randle's 18 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists, Jordan Clarkson's 25 points and DeAngelo Russell's 20. Meanwhile, James Harden had a monster game, dropping 34 points, 17 dimes and 8 rebounds in the loss. Eric Gordon added 19 points, and Clint Capela scored 16.

In case you missed it, YG announced on Oct. 25 that he's releasing a new mixtape soon. He took to Twitter and said, "Fuck it. Mixtape koming soon." Additionally, the West Coast MC's track "FDT" is as relevant as ever, with the presidential election less than two weeks away. Earlier this year, YG told TMZ, “We trying to touch the people. We trying to motivate, get all the young people to vote. Go really take your time out and vote on who should be in office cause it’s important. If not, it could be all bad for us.”
