Crenshaw meets Compton as Nipsey Hussle and YG team up for a vigorous political statement on "FDT," or "Fuck Donald Trump," if you didn't know.

Produced by DJ Swish, the song finds these two passionate MCs letting people know why Trump would be a cancer to this country if he gets elected for President. "Reagan sold coke, Obama sold hope / Donald Trump spent his trust fund money on a vote," spits Nip.

Both MCs also make some excellent specific points about how people can unite against Trump's ugly brand of xenophobia. Towards the end of the song, YG and Nip trade bars about teaming up with the Mexicans out West to fight the Republican candidate's legitimacy. There might have been some tension in the past between blacks and Hispanics on the West Coast, but here the gesture is one of solidarity, not antagonism.

As election season moves into first gear, expect to see a lot more rappers making overt political statements like this. Just as rappers supported Obama eight years ago, there's no doubt we'll be seeing rappers taking a shit on Trump every chance they get.

Politics aside, this is the first music we've gotten from YG since late last year (aside from that slamming snippet in his 4 Hunnid lookbook video) and the first track from Nipsey since he dropped Mailbox Money in January of 2015. Rap fans are hoping for albums from both of these guys later this year - Still Krazy from YG and Victory Lap from Nipsey. Terrace Martin, who had a hand in producing Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, has been hard at work on YG's joint, and if last year's "Twist My Fingaz" collab from the duo is any indication, the album is shaping up to be a huge evolution from My Krazy Life.
