XXXTentacion has had his fair share of legal issues, and footage that was recently leaked online isn't helping his situation. Earlier this week, video circulating around the internet shows the ? artist appearing to hit a woman in the face.

The footage, which pops up while XXX is currently undergoing a criminal trial for domestic abuse, appears to be several years old since X is sporting an old hair style and is missing several of his trademark tattoos. In the short clip, a woman films herself smiling at a camera as XXXTentacion dances in the background, then pops her in the head with a closed fist and the video cuts out.

According to TMZ, prosecutors in the South Florida rapper's domestic violence case are reviewing this new footage to see if it may pertain to the case against him.

XXXTentacion's lawyer, Jaclyn Broudy, said that the interaction captured on this newly released video is "completely in jest," and argues that people are trying to impede the artist's success by bringing his old actions to the forefront. She argues that XXX is a changed man who is attempting to be a better person. The artist has been giving back to his community recently, hosting the A Helping Hand benefit concert and releasing a track dedicated to the victims and survivors of the Douglas High School shooting in Parkland, Fla.—not far from his home in Broward County.

XXXTentacion was recently allowed off of house arrest, a condition of his ongoing case, so that he can go on tour.
