Before his death on Monday (June 18), XXXTentacion had earned his first ever No. 1 album with ?. Along with the successful project, X had other things to be proud of, including a $1.4 million mansion in Parkland, Fla. he purchased in November.

According to a June 19 report from TMZ, the "Sad!" rapper was putting the finishing touches on the lavish home before he was shot and killed. Located just 15 minutes away from where the shooting occurred, the nearly 6,000 square-foot home features four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a pool that sits on more than one acre of land.

Neighbors from the area say construction crews were still working to complete the home, installing a security fence around the area. The rapper had recently moved into the home and while neighbors say he was quiet, they added that he was friendly.

According to authorities, X was leaving RIVA Motorsports on Monday shortly before 4 p.m. when two armed suspects wearing hoodies approached him. At least one of the suspects fired a gun at the rapper, killing him. The two men were able to flee the scene in a dark-colored SUV.

The Broward Sherrif's Office is now asking that anyone with information about the shooting contact them. According to a tweet from the office, "Anonymous tips that lead to an arrest are eligible for a reward of up to $3,000."
