A group of theater producers is turning the recent Wu-Tang Clan/Martin Shkreli debacle into a musical, according to Fact. Lauren Gundrum and Joel Ester wrote the play, titled Martin Shkreli's Game, and they're currently seeking funding so it can appear at Midtown International Festival. View the musical's trailer above.

In 2015, Shkreli paid $2 million for Wu-Tang Clan's enigmatic album, Once Upon a Time in Shaolin. In a bizarre turn of events, rumors began to circulate that a special clause existed in the sale contract: Wu-Tang members were allowed to team up with actor Bill Murray to pull of a "heist or caper" to get the album back.

Those rumors later turned out to be a hoax. Shortly thereafter, Shkreli and Ghostface Killah traded heated words and threats about the entire situation. Remember -- Shkreli is the same guy who raised the price of a crucial AIDS and cancer medication by more than 5,000 percent. Although the Bill Murray clause turned out to be fake, that isn't stopping Gundrum and Esther from putting on their own musical to reflect all the strange events that went down. As aforementioned, Martin Shkreli's Game has a reserved spot in the Midtown International Festival, but the organizers need funding in order to make it happen.
