Tory Lanez Tackles ‘5 Fingers of Death’ Freestyle
Tory Lanez may be known for his crooning but the Toronto artist is no stranger to rapping and recently stopped by Sway in the Morning to tackle The 5 Fingers of Death freestyle challenge.
"I'm so sick, I spit flows with a whole infection/Times hard and niggas gotta split the o in sections/No burners, like fucking hoes, no protection/But that's rare, like a fat ass with no injections/Presidential kush, you could took the whole election/I got a whole collection of a homegrown selection," he spit over Cam'ron's "Welcome to New York City."
Later in his freestyle, Tory took on another Cam beat, rapping over "Down and Out." "You don't really wanna square it up, 'cause I'm focused/You won't notice like when Sway came back and his hair was cut/I'm goin' fast no matter what ever gear I clutch," Lanez rapped.
On Friday (March 2), Lanez dropped his sophomore album, Memories Don't Die. The 18-track project includes guest appearances from Future, Mansa, Nav, 50 Cent, Fabolous, Wiz Khalifa and more.
Last month, the rapper opened up about squashing his beef with Drake, calling it a big moment for music. "As far as like me and like Drake like kinda coming together and just talking and getting to know each other and stuff like that, I felt like it was just a big moment for music in general," Lanez shared. "We just spoke. We just spoke as two men, that was it. It wasn't some crazy like candlelit room, like mafioso boss moment. We just spoke."
