too-short1.jpgWest Coast legend, Too $hort, will release a new compilation album, Set Up Shop, on October 17 with his newly formed group, the Up All Nite Crew. The LP will be released through $hort’s indy label, Up All Nite Music, and introduces two new MCs into the fold — female rapper Lil Red and 21-year-old Young Bay, both of which hail from Atlanta. “The whole object of Set Up Shop is me getting back to my roots,” Too $hort says. “I live and die by the funk, but I also roll with the trends. At the end of the day, I’m a music man and a music fan.” In July, Too $hort released another compilation album, I Love The Bay, on Up All Nite music, which featured artists such as Keak Da Sneak, Yukmouth and Turf Talk.
