It's been two years since TK Kravitz dropped his eponymous 2016 debut project and established himself as a solo artist. Now the singer-songwriter, formerly known for his catchy singles as one-half of TK-N-Cash, is basking in the success of his newest release—one that was in the making for the past two years.

TK Kravitz has come into his own and steadily climbed iTunes charts with "Ocean" off 2.0, the introspective EP that he calls his best and most personal work to date. The lead single, featuring longtime friend and fellow R&B crooner Jacquees, currently sits at No. 25 on iTunes and peaked at No. 8 on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart—even Boosie has been caught rocking out to the R&B banger.

"Me and Quee been friends for years—since early on—so we’ve always worked on music," the 25-year-old Augusta, Ga. native tells XXL. "But we always said when we do a record it gotta be that one and ['Ocean' is] definitely the one." He also hints at a slew of unfinished records the two have in the chamber.

Along with Jacquees, there are other high-profile guests on 2.0, including YoungBoy Never Broke Again (“Bank Account"), 2 Chainz (“Out the Gate”), and Keke Palmer (“Property”). As for the latter's sultry yet commanding cameo, TK Kravitz says the actress-singer wrote and recorded her verse in less than 10 minutes.

"She reached out [and] wanted to work with me," he says. "Not even gonna’ lie, I honestly didn’t know she was that talented. She’s definitely someone to look out for."

2.0 is a win well-deserved for an artist who's worked with some of the industry's hottest names, including Durk and Gunna. He's currently prepping for Streetzfest 2k18, taking place at Cellairis Amphitheatre at Lakewood in Atlanta on August 18. 21 Savage, Lil Baby, Scotty ATL and Yung Miami (of City Girls) are scheduled to perform as well. TK is also planning to tour in promotion of the EP this year.

TK plans to finish out 2018 strong. For now, he's reaping the rewards of his hard work.
