I grew up listening to: I grew up listening to Pimp C, OutKast, the Cash Money and the whole No Limit era. Master P.
What I liked about No Limit is the consistency. They was putting out music every week and pretty much the energy they brought to the game. Them and Cash Money. I try to use a similar work ethic as they did to put out some kind of content. Something every other week or make sure every month I am putting out some type of work. Whether it be a song, video, or something.
Most people don't know I: I graduated from college on the president’s list with honors. I graduated with my degree in Leisure Studies.
My style's been compared to: My style has been compared to Fabolous at times. I hear a lot of things. Some people say I remind them of Diddy. It’s kind of funny. People run off all type of things. I’ve always gotten [comparisons to New York rappers] ever since I’ve been in school because I like to dress too. People always think I am from upstate and or say I have an upstate swag.
My standout records and/or moments to date have been: My standout record is “Ask Dem” with Lil’ Boosie. He’s from Louisiana and I am from Louisiana and we had mutual friends. He kind of introduced us and we ended up working from there. We would always pretty much run into each other. This track called “I’m The Shit.” Produced by the same producer who produced “Ask Dem Hoes,” DJ Beats. It’s got a lot of 808s. Hard drums. I fit right in the pocket right there as far as my flow goes.
My standout moments are that I actually did this promo run at this middle school. This little girl, she actually knew me. She was like her brother loves my music. She’s like my number one fan. That was a crazy awesome moment for me because she was so excited. She wouldn’t leave me the whole day. I spoke to them and I performed for them. She like followed me the whole day. She ended up writing on this car: “I’m your number one fan!”
My goal in Hip-Hop is: To be a household name and eventually evolve into a hip-hop mogul.
I'm gonna be the next: Biggest artist to come out the south.
