Chicago is bubbling with new talent. Meet Lil Bibby, the 18-year-old who got co-signs from everyone to Drake and Kevin Durant. Let his tales from the hood speak for itself.

Name: Brandon "Lil Bibby" Dickerson

I grew up listening to: I grew up listening to Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. I remember people use to always argue about who was best between the two.

Most people don't know I: I am a very quiet person. With being a rapper I still have to get used to the attention. I also hate cameras in my face all the time.

My style's been compared to: My style has been compared to Jay-Z, Drake, and even Bump J. I don't think I sound like any of them.

My standout records and/or moments to date have been: I'm pretty big on this new song I have out. Its called "Know That" Its a good song where I was expressing myself a bit. I used a nice melody over a beat with some strings, guitars and pianos. A few moments that meant something to me was the Joey I.E. tweet, and just being noticed by artists I looked up to like Jeezy and Drake. The Kevin Durant tweet even moved me because that's my favorite basketball player and I used to play basketball.

My goal in Hip-Hop is: To be considered as one of the greatest. I want my name to live on like the Tupacs and the Biggies.

I'm gonna be the next: I don't want to be the next anything. I feel like its only one Bibby. I'm unique. I feel like I bring a different style to music. I make music depending on how and what I'm feeling at the moment. So you might catch me rapping about a lot of different things. I don't want to to be stuck in a lane where I'm know for making one type of music. I like to try different flows and styles of music.
