Hi-Rez continues to prove he’s a talent bubbling out of the underground. In anticipation for his Product Of My Environment mixtape, get to know the lyrical MC who has gone on national tours with King Los and Cory Gunz. Nothing is getting in his way.

Standout: "Brandon Clark"

Also check out: "Poof"

And: "Applause"

Name: Hi-Rez

Age: 19

Hometown: Broward County, FL. Originally Bronx, NY.

I grew up listening to: Biggie, Kanye, Mos Def, KRS-One, Wu-Tang, Lil Wayne, Jay, Nas, Pac, N.W.A., Cypress Hill, Common, Eminem, 50 Cent, Snoop.

Most people don't know I: Been making music for 7 years already. (Since 6th Grade) I have awful medical stomach issues (hernia, ulcers, etc) and anxiety that makes life almost unbearable. But I use that negativity as a fuel for motivation. Nothing's getting in my way.

My style's been compared to: A bunch of white rappers that I hate. Comparisons suck. Truthfully, very few artists can match my flow and lyricism.

My standout records and/or moments to date have been: I toured the country twice this past summer with King Los and than with Cory Gunz. “Brandon Clark” is one of my newer videos, but the flow is impeccable and lyrically reflects my current state of mind perfectly. I have a few videos with over a million views, but they mean very little to me now. I made them when I was 16 and they don't reflect who I am as a person today. A great moment for me that happened recently was having the opportunity to announce my first headlining national tour starting November 12 to support my upcoming mixtape dropping on the same day titled Product Of My Environment.

My goal in Hip-Hop is: To have my music help people overcome struggles and obstacles in life. I’m sick of hearing records about the same bullshit. I plan on telling my truths and trials and tribulations through every record, because if you lie on record it lasts forever. I also plan on opening an aquarium and a restaurant and zoo and shit....I want the world to know exactly who I am and what I go through.

I'm gonna be the next: Hologram 'Pac.
