Wale, arguably the most polarizing artist on MMG's roster, follows up his 2013 release, The Gifted, with the Jerry Seinfeld-aided The Album About Nothing. Wale tackles the 14-track project with personal rhymes and songs about battling depression, the lack of respect he feels he receives as an artist, social media and going through a miscarriage with an ex-girlfriend. Despite the heavy subject matter, Wale does have some fun. The addition of Seinfeld, who Wale is a huge fan of, makes for some laughs and provides Wale with subject matter over the course of the album. With features from J. Cole, SZA, Usher, Jeremih and AG3, the D.C. rapper strayed away from his MMG family to deliver the long-awaited collection of music about nothing. Stream the album via Spotify below or cop it on iTunes here.

Along with the project, Wale also dropped the video for "White Shoes." The rapper, a known sneaker aficionado, visually details a young man's desire to cop a fresh pair of Jordans to help his status symbol. Wale cleverly weaves a joke from Seinfeld into the video and puts a different spin on the comedian's words. Unfortunately, the purchase of the sneakers only leads to trouble and Wale perfectly captures the growing problem of people harming each other over expensive sneakers. Peep the clip below.

Wale also performed “Girls On Drugs" on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Backed by The Roots, Folarin stole the show last night (March 30). Watch it below.
