It’s safe to say Stormzy's had a great 2017. But aside from his music accolades, one thing has remained consistent with the rapper’s brand: He is always eager to help a fan in need. His most recent act of kindness, however, tops the list of contributable acts.

On Dec. 14, when Stormzy dropped the official music video for "Blinded By Your Grace Pt. 2" featuring MNEK, a fan responded with a heartfelt message about his father’s passing and how the track was their favorite song of his.

“Bro my Dad passed away on the day of my graduation last week Friday. Our favourite song of yours was 'Blinded by Your Grace.' Would love it if you could preform this at his funeral next Thursday 21st December. Don’t worry if you can’t, I just thought I’d try my luck 🙏🏾 #Hopeful”

Much to the fan’s surprise, Stormzy responded asking him to DM him and earlier this week, he actually performed the moving single at the funeral.

Back in October, Stormzy helped a fan who lied to their mother about having a track with the grime artist. In May, he donated a significant amount to a British student struggling to pay her tuition at Harvard University. In short, Stormzy is always down to lend a helping hand.

Safe to say, Stormzy's had a good year. From winning Best Male Act at this year’s MOBO Awards to his debut album, Gang Signs & Prayer, reaching No. 1 on the U.K. charts, the British artist has accomplished a few things this year worth celebrating.
